Teochew Porridge

Recently I happen to visit a friend staying at Bukit Merah area and he recommended me to try out the Teochew porridge nearby. This stall named as Ye Shang Hai Teochew Porridge (夜上海潮州粥） is famous for their Teochew style porridge.

It took me about 10 minutes from the queue and as dinner hour drew nearer, I could see the queue getting longer.

They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from eg. fish, squid, vege, tofu, mince meat, fishcake etc. After tasting it, I know the reason why there are long queues is because the food they serve are fresh and the price is affordable.
